West Ham 0-1 Town Sat 17th Mar 2001 18:07
Town got back into away winning ways with an excellent 1-0 victory at Upton Park over a West Ham side that rarely showed their talents. Town were dominant virtually from beginning to end, but on an afternoon when chances were rare it took a Martijn Reuser special to win the game for the Blues.

Villa 2 - 1 Town Sat 10th Mar 2001 18:24
Town will see themselves as very unfortunate to have come out of this game without even a point. Despite rarely playing at their best the Blues were the better side for most of the game. Town went ahead through Alun Armstrong halfway through the first half, but two Julian Joachim goals in the second half gave Villa the three points.
Town 3-1 Bradford Sun 04th Mar 2001 19:09

Town 2-0 Everton Sat 24th Feb 2001 18:09
It was the late, late show again for Town as two goals in the last nine minutes put Everton to the sword. As against Leicester and Charlton earlier in the season Town fans had to be patient as their side finally overcame the opposition. And as against Charlton the breakthrough came from Matt Holland with a second, from Alun Armstrong, two minutes later. However Everton were not the eleven man defence that Leicester and Charlton were, they had their moments and could themselves have scored on a few occasions prior to Town’s goals.

Naylor Definitely Out Tue 20th Feb 2001 15:09
Town striker Richard Naylor is definitely out of Saturday's clash with Everton. The copper-topped man of steel has a knee problem which he has had injected.
Chelsea 4-1 Town Sat 20th Jan 2001 18:55
Bad defending and bad refereeing condemned Town to their second 4-1 away League defeat in succession. An early goal from Marcus Stewart, his seventh in consecutive games put the Blues ahead, but an equaliser on half-time and a disastrous second half followed. Referee Andy D’Urso also controversially sent off John McGreal in the aftermath of a penalty decision which led to Chelsea’s fourth.
Man City 2-3 Town Sat 25th Nov 2000 18:29
Town made heavy weather of what should have been an easy victory over Manchester City. The Blues went three up inside an hour, but allowed the up to then thoroughly poor City side get back into it with two late goals.
